Our Style
Kenpo Jiujitsu Do is a mixed martial art that blends Kenpo Karate, Jiujitsu, Boxing, Muay Tai and Shotokan Karate. Sensei Tom Dubitsky is a Family Coach at The UCLA Family Commons and an accomplished martial artist who holds black belts in Kenpo Jiujitsu, Shotokan Karate, and Toso Kune Do.

Our Dojo
The physical benefits of martial arts training are many, but students at our dojo quickly learn that training has no true value without mental discipline — respect, self control, managing emotions, integrity, accountability, humility and effort.

Character Matters
How hard are you willing to try? Have you been respectful to your parents? Who has done all their homework? How many of you are eating fruits and vegetables? Who is being a “first time listener” at home and at school?  These kinds of questions weave their way into every class. While our students may be focused on learning how to throw a proper "front kick" or execute an "arm bar," we make sure they are absorbing attitudes about character at the same time.

Our Mission
We help each of our students form a new identity — the identity of a true martial artist, someone who commits themselves each day to being better than they were the day before. We inspire our students to constantly ask themselves, What do I stand for? We believe this is one of the most important questions they can ask throughout their lives.
