The mission of The UCLA Family Commons is to inspire families and communities to discover their unique potential for well-being. We offer a welcoming environment filled with classes, events, coaching and excitement about creating healthy, engaged lives.

We envision a world where all possess the tools they need to move through the world with confidence and innovation—for life. Healthier families make stronger communities, and healthier communities make stronger families. When children and parents take charge of their own well-being, they build both.

Volunteer Intern at The UCLA Family Commons and get hands-on, practical experience while learning about our innovative model for family wellness (supervision & college credit available). Opportunities also available to fill community service hours.

Work-Study Work-study opportunities available for UCLA students with approved work-study awards. Jobs may be eligible for designation by UCLA as community service positions.

Hold Author Events Schedule a reading or community discussion to present your work on family wellness to an engaged, motivated audience. Preference given to books that include a science-based component put forward in an accessible style.

Put on Community Events Artists, musicians, filmmakers and others are invited to showcase your work at our Friday & Saturday evening community events. We welcome a broad range of events that inspire family and community well-being. Global perspectives appreciated!
