Meredith Beam

Meredith Beam is an innovator, writer, speaker, advisor and founder of BEAM, inc, an international strategy and brand-consulting firm in San Francisco. At BEAM, Meredith has worked with 150+ companies, social entrepreneurs, nonprofits and communities who were at the crossroads of change. In each engagement she led and inspired teams in the design of new business models, the development of focused strategies, and the creation of compelling, distinct and authentic brands for the emerging new 3.0 era.

Meredith has been married to her husband and business partner, Dan Beam, for 28 years. They have two children who are artists and educators living in New York City. Meredith is a weekend artist who paints under the nom de plume of Maria Theresa Flambe Nacho. She likes to write poetry, travel, scuba dive, ski and engage in intimate conversations with good friends. Her biggest struggle, since childhood, has been "paying attention in class" and reducing her urge to multi-task everything. Her colleagues say she is making some progress with her practice of mindful awareness.
